Description

F1, 80 days. For chilies, these are substantially large. At 18cm (7”) long, Giant Ristra looks like a Marconi type, but it has the genuine heat of a cayenne. This All America Selections Winner can be used fresh, roasted, or dried – or tied into decorative ristras for winter displays. The heat development was better than some of the other varieties in our field trials. Spice lovers will adore its tear-inducing 30,000-50,000 SHUs. One of the winning qualities is that the plants are tall enough that very few of the pods reach the ground, even though they are so large.
